I am looking to do some engine mods to the efi windsor V8.
already has a AU series 3 220kW cam, but not as much power as i wanted. i didn't get the ecu remapped because i was told by crow cams the the cam would work fine within the ecu's std. range.. now, i may be going for a lumpier cam, and i will need to remap the ecu, but i am also thinking of going with the Unichip piggyback comp, (heard many good reports on this). With the piggyback comp, will i still need to remap the origional ecu, or will the unichip comp take care of that...? or will it be done anyway when its installed??? |

Look at the TwEECer.. much better option.

The AU 220kw cam is nothing radical - neither is the Crane 2031 (for 1.72 rollerrockers) or Crane 2030 (for 1.6 roller rockers). EEC4 will handle a reasonable cam without too many problems - if you are looking for more power look at Extreme Velocity in the commercial sponsors or send me a PM and I will work out a good combo for you.
