Serial Link output check fail Serial Link is faulty. Can be caused by open circuit, or short to Ground, +12V

Hi people i need to know wat the hell does this mean.

afaik the serial link is a link from the ecu to dash cluster, as ef/el cluster gets its info from the ecu..
it shouldnt be a issue as i had the same code when i put a el ecu in my ea..
