Hi and thanks how much is it for the 300kpa regulator???and were abouts do you live?? if you are out side of melbourne what would the postage cost?? im in melbourne.And im after eather a EF xr6 ECU or im gonna chiptorque the standard one that i got,not that i know what the diffrence would be???if you know can you let me know???Thanks heaps Peter..

hi there to everyone can anyone tell me if this is a original part number for a EF xr6 map sensor???? this is all the numbers on the sensor front and back of it !!!!
E7DF-9F479-A2A, >PBT-GF30<, 5C08C, C06HE1.

I just bought 1 from ebay the guy said that its original but i cant tell,comparing it with original ef fairmont most of the numbers are the same apart from the number on the back of it and the end numbers on the front...Thanks Peter....

As far as i know all map sensors are the same between EA-EL 6 cyl and V8.

So theres not really a special "XR6" map sensor. New ones are 86 bucks

yeah oops, just that i seen a Ford map sensor advertised to suit both engines from EA-EL and quoted it here without thinking

thanks for the info on the map sensor for a xr6 ef i just waisted the money on 1 thats if there are the same.

Hi, what's the difference between an EF XR6 and the standard fuel preesure regulator in KPA's please? Is 300 standard or XR??

standard is 270kpa,and the ef or el xr6 is 300kpa more air flow pressure to the fuel injectors so the car goes better and faster.Also ive noticed better take of and the motor runs a lot smoother ..
