first of all i cant use search i dunno how to use it (nevers works for me)

i have a ef fairmont i want to put it a xr6 ecu

my questions are

will it plug into the harness without cutting wires soldering etc

what power MAY be gained from it

and say we speaking of an auto xr auto ecu will it give better shift changes

i find the norm ecu just lags in changes i want it to snap into the next gear quicker

any help would be great even if u can show me how search works i wont waste peoples time again

All it would do is give different shift changes. Not sure how it would mess with the settings cause its calibrated to work with 3.45 diff, but im not sure about this.

Anyway, the amount of money spent getting an xr6 ecu, you could get a regrind cam & shims for less and actually get a performance increase
