about 1000k ago i put an EF XR6 ecu into my ef fairmont wagon.
She has a tendency to idle high for about 20-30 seconds before the revs drop after i pull up at the lights and so forth, i am about to put an EF XR head and cam on her.
I think this is just a teething problem till the ECU settles in and i am sure when the new head and cam go on it will improve things anyone had this experience ?? and i am still using the std fuel pressure reg will changing this improve the performance and idle of my ECU ??.
