Will swaping the EF XR8 ECU into an DF LTD increase the gear shift points just like the I6 ?? If not, what component should it be swapping across from the XR8 ??

Or am I wasting my time because there is no difference between the XR8 and LTD shift points ??

The V8's have a seperate shift control module that you should grab as well - my mate has an ex-chaser ef xr8 and it shifts at 5700 whereas my NF shifts at 4800 so grab it too.

I think some of the ECUs had the trans comp built into them and some were separate and mounted elsewhere in the cabin
