I'm in the process of completing my manual conversion on my EL. I have a manual ECU I want to use but not sure what I need to do in terms of wiring up the manual box?

I've done a fair bit of hunting around but cannot find any clear instructions, only the " trick " for using an auto ECU which is not what i want to do.

any help would be appreciated!

If your using the Auto Trans Harness to wire up the Manual :

Delete all the wires going to the Round Plug. These are Auto only.

Bridge the two wires that usually go to the Neutral Start Switch. so that the starter will turn over
Wire up the two reverse wires to the reverse switch on your manual (reverse lights)
Connect the Speedo transducer as normal

Optional : If you have cruise control you can put the cruise switch on the clutch, which enables the cruise control to coast when the clutch is in (Meaning that if you depress the clutch it coasts, but as soon as you release it it re-engages. Theres a few posts on this around.

sorry - I dont have wire colours on me here at work.
