FOR EVERYONE WITH THIS PROBLEM:
Check ICS on throttle body (if vacum sound changes after reving by hand OK CHECK the gasket tighten inlet manifold bolts check power steering switch if car does eventually return to idle speed after a few minutes (may) not turn steering wheel idle speed should increase if not check the conection at power steering switch clean contacts or replace switch 50 dollars from repco. check vacum leak under manifold usually plastic fitting bottom of inlet manifold make sure it is not cracked or broken follow pcv hose dowwn to find it lastley the ECU can have idle circuit checked at Specialised Automotive Electronics 04 23399286 anthony great bloke and he can fix them |
