Does anyone have a diagram or a link to one of a setup on an el, with an oil catch can, internal wastegate, boost controller and boost guage.Where do they all go, I have two ports on wastegate, one on charge pipe, one on the housing and two on the oil catch can. Can anyone please help? My email is alanhume@hotmail.com. Even a drawn one will do, anything that can help me.

What colour is the smoke?

What gap have you got on the plugs?

If it's blowing Oil smoke on boost, I woud say that you have blowby.

I will ask again what your plug gap is. Has the gap been closed up when the turbo was fitted?

is it a ball bearing turbo and if so, does it have the restrictor on the oil feed line??

also what size is the oil return and is it a straight line downwards to sump

I don't know they are brand new Bosch super 4's. And no it does not have a restrictor and yes it is a straight large hose to the sump. Also I think I have found my xr6 computer. The Catch code is 6dbb, and the part no. Is 96da-12a650-bb ??

Pull the plugs and check the gap, you need about 0.8-0.9mm depending on the boost.

If there is no restrictor on the oil line, you could have oil leaking past the oil seal due to oil pressure.

I did, that's why I was asking for help, I had never done a turbo before or seen one done. I just had a general idea. But I didn't know a few things obviously. the oil feed line had a small hole in the end that went to the turbo. and is there anything I can put on the drain line that will speed up the process of draining, something to build up a bit of pressure in to move it down the line with a bit of force. and what codes are xr6 ?????? Coz I have mine around somewhere.
