Hey guys, an awesome website for sure! Hoping someone can help me out... I'm trying to find out which of the two, the EV1 or EV6, my 5.0l Fairlane (NL) uses? The Max Ellery's manual says nothing... But under the hood it looks like the EV1.
Am I best to order the Fuel Injector Service Kit through this website? Cheers

There's a copyright notice on there now! Can't be used. What a shame

I never got a look at fordfuelinjection.com but the following site seems to be a replica?

Hi. Hey scaffy what part of the link for all the info on fuel injection stuff was actually for fuel injection. I kept going to the link and got all sorts of useless stuff that had nothing to do with fuel injection. A few here have said how good it was so its me not you ok. This is the copy of the link http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/ . Could you send me, or reply somehow with the link straight to the injection stuff. All i found was stuff on newcastle electricians , how to manage your baseness with templates for graphs etc. Alo some pages on old school supercharger, latest coil thingsys and ... ahaaaa.... an old fuel injection set with individual trumpet stacks. That was the closest I came.

I don't think I will waste your time. I just found a bazillion bits of information on just a few of the many may many tests etc etc etc for the ford efi and that's convinced me to rip it out and go carb. .Oh my forking God what a pile of information tech. WOW. My you bute EB 5LT IN MY 66 XR UTE HAS THE SAME POWER AS A 1967 302. It has to be wound over more than a carb motor to start, and if given a quick blip in neutral takes 15 seconds to wind back down to idle. I have spent money on idle thingys mas air thingys and other sensors. It still doesn't impress like the old carb motors did. Before you all waste time convincing me of the wonders of efi, make sure you consider if its really worth it. My f@rt was a mechanic and he could fix anything anywhere. My view is the same as his was, it aint worth the pain, 10 percent extra of sfa for a lotta pain. The rodding and old school boys in the US seem to lean that way too.

Oh and sorry I can't reply to 18 of the 19 replies to my questions as I can't see how to do it. I can only see one reply. This forum is like learning how to deal with EFI
