its not ment to be reset, if the voltage is out of range its either stuffed or your base idle is set to high........

to start the car i have to hold the accelerater open and to change gears the throtle has to be open when i gey home im going to check it |

also all that has been doone is a mate disconnected the TPS and ISC and ran the car n moved the Throttle :/

the engine will still start and run without the tps as it relies more on the map sensor,
but it still requires the tps for closed throttle for the isc ,accelerator enrichment and the auto needs tps for throttle position.. |

yea its well to start and change gears i need open throttle more than normal so if i disconnect the battery for 30 mins will this help, i dnt have a multimeter to test it atm

tps i reading 4+ v and cant get it down without having throttle open

are you testing it between the green wire and black wire??
it should be 0.7v at closed throttle and around 3.7-4v at full throttle.. |

green wire bein the middle yes
and i have it going to the battery earth |

its best to test it between the green wire and the black wire on the tps, this wire is a signal return to the ecu, while it is earthed eventually its earthed through the ecu..

yeah i tested on multiple earth points and yeah its still the same
are these a part that are cheap? sorry iv never priced them b4 n wanna make sure wrecker isnt ripping me off |

ford charge about $200 for a new one..
i have seen them on ebay new for around $80- $100 |
