My car has no fuel going to the injectors. Seems to be the fuel pump but could it be anything else??? It has been starting a little funny the last couple of weeks, i have had to turn it over twice instead of once. It seemed to be especially worse on hot days as it could take up to 4 turns of the key to get it going and when it did it started roughly. The way its been running seems to lean towards fuel pump but im not sure. I guess i will try a new fuel pump tomorrow but would like some feedback if ne1 thinks it could be something else??
Thanks |

Does the fuel pump prime when you put the key to ON but not starting the engine? if it does then it isn't the fuel pump.
I am more inclined in replacing the fuel filter if that hasn't been done for a while. If you have recently change the fuel filter, it may be the fuel reg. You can also check the wiring of the injectors, the main loom might have some loose wire, hence the trouble of starting during hot weather. I would personally check the fuel filter first. It can be the dizzy, that seems to be effected by heat a fair amount. phong =P~

if it doesnt prime (the 3 or so second whir when you turn the ignition to on) then it could be the pump relay (its under the coolant tank, a stupid place to put it).

Umm according to the gregory's manual, the Fuel pump relay has a green connector and is located under/behind the radiator/battery respectively. The brown connector is the ECU Relay. Not sure how to check the relays though sorry. The black ring, you will either need to make a special tool for it to undo it, or get a screwdriver (hopefully a flat head that is blunt) or something similar and use it with the aid of a mallet to whack the thing off. Though you will need to get a new O-ring for it if you are putting it back together. Without replacing the o-ring you may get leakages. phong =P~
