this should probably be in the interior mods section but anyway....
i want to install a fuel pressure gauge, and i want to have it in the cabin.. now i know i cant legally (or safely) run a pressurised fuel line into the cab,, i was hoping someone knew of an electronic fuel pressure gauge? that works along the same line as a oil pressure gauge? the only one i have found is an autometer and there is no way in hell im spending $500 on a gauge any ideas appreciated,, even if i have to make up something custom cheers, -mitch

Well, I don't know about gauges.. but this is what I was thinking. Get an old s**t fuel pressure guage, and then isntall a variable resistor (ie a pot) onto the need part at the bottom, and then have a 12V feed going through it, and into another electronic guage (which ever one you choose) with a custom face..So in effect, the actual guage will be a sender.

OK well obviously its illegal having a mechanical FP gauge inside the car - and downright stupid if you ask me.
$500 is cheap. Most of the FP gauge kits with isolator i was looking at were $600+ Other alternative is to mount on the cowling in front of the windscreen... Sorry, no easy solution for this one

yeh i want fuel pressure.. on the cowel panel isnt really an option as i just dont wanna do it lol.. owell iguess my inline one will have to do... its all accademic now as i only have 4 pistons left :S

lol.. 4 pistons is 4 better than 0. I still think my idea will work.

I was looking at an electronic FP guage when I installed my blower but after looking into it went for a wideband air fuel meter as I think they are far more usefull and around the same cost, just something to think about.

i have a fuel pressure gauge on the cowl of my car, a mechanical speco meter one, and im pretty sure i can just tap into the supply line running to the fuel rail
