when im driving gently its all good uses a bit more fuel then im happy with but the real problem is sinking the boot the revs drop right back and i go no where i have to take my foot off and ease it back on and wait for her to pick up. i know its not the box or anything like that its like the motor dies but doesnt actually stall
intersections have been hairy to say the least my guess is fuel pump is not happy any other ideas would be muchly appreciated

Could be a stuffed Fuel Reg. Have you checked the usual, Plugs, Leads, Airfilter, Coil etc?
