I just spoke to the man at the head shop about my fuel system.....
he said not to get bigger injectors, but get a bigger Fuel pump and Fuel Regulator. Whats a good fuel pump a fair way better then standard???? and what Reg can i get im not sure whether an XR one would do the job.. are there adjustable regs around? His reason for wanting more fuel pressure instead of larger injectors is because of atomisation and he said smalled injectors with higher pressure would be better then larger and stock pressure.... This dude sounds pretty f**k cluey.... This is for a massive head port, 230 at 50 Duration High lift cam etc... 3000 stally etc..

just keep in mind that too much pressure can actualy hurt the spray pattern and cause more dramas then it solves.
you should be looking for the an injector that is the right size to give you enough fuel at about with out going over about 85% D/C. if you pick the right ones you'll get a better spray then over pressuring stock injectors anyway. |
