The clamp is a kunt of a think, depending where it's located I usually use a short screw driver or a 8mm socket on a uni joint, once thats off I use a wide flatblade screw driver and a hammer to get the cap off, just don't break the tabs, try keeping the flat blade at the bottom of the tabs and bang it with the hammer and it should come loose, the rest is easy, the whole assembly will come out, undo the clamp holding the pump in, unplug the wires, and hose, jam new one on and reverse previous steps.
