hey everyone

i was just stuffing around with my car now and i found a 3A fuse spare with the lettering (Fu. Tnk. Sel.) It didn't have a fuse in it but i just wanted to know what it does.

So's this on the fuse panel ?? More info if you can . . . .

At first thought sounds like power for the outback model's 2nd fuel tank . . . . :?:

yeah it is on the fuse panel in the cabin.
It is in the 13th fuse position and it is only a 3A fuse needed. Its a XH ute so i don't have the second fuel tank but im just wondering what it is ill try and get a photo of the panel set up for you.

i'd say it's the fuse position for the utes that were fitted with twin tanks

if it says fuel tank select, could it be to switch fuel pumps for each tank?

do you have twin tanks though?
if not, and IF that is what the fuse is for, don't put a fuse in.

i don't have the reserve tank and why would it matter if the fuse was in or out?? if there isn't anything to energise it world just sit there wouldn't it???

that's like putting a fuse in for power windows when you dont have them in your car.
