I have read that the tickford gas cars had two fuel maps (in the tech docs section).

I own a duel fuel car, but it's not a tickford system. now i notice that my car runs substanionaly better on petrol (98 ron), and i want it to run much better on gas.

Now the question is, can i get my present ecu re-programed, or is there a "upgrade" ecu, perhaps the tickford one, or an aftermarket, that would allow me have two fuel/spark maps.

a lot of aftermarket ECU's have the allouance for 2 different timing maps.
but thats an expensive option, no way to upgrade ur ecu but theres prolly no reason why you couldn't put the tickford LPG one in and setup a switch to change the ignition maps.
there are only 2 pins on the ECU that are related to it so i can't imagine it being that hard.
