The average price to clean/flow test injectors is usually $20 ea,after you have removed them from motor.Basically just paying for labour as *most* are sealed and pintle and seat machined sets.

I would definately go for the pull out and clean system, that way you kow for sure that they are clean, or need replacing.

On my 94ED, it has been on LPG since new and have noticed now the injectord are not firing at all. Soo I am up for replacement injectors $60ea from ford.

Stay away from the fuel additives as prolonged use will actually clog the injectors up with their own solvents.

Have you considered running 3-4 tanks of premium through your system? All the vortex/optimax/ultimate adds seem to have a picture of two injectors doing their thing - a brand new one with an 'after' caption and one of the filthiest dirtiest ones they can find with the 'before' caption. They say the detergent additives clean them out. (Perhaps a squirt of Morning Fresh would do the same thing, yes?)

OK, so I'm a sucker for advertising, but my maths tells me Premium is good value for money because I go further on a tank, and the donk runs cleaner. Oh, did I mention more grunt?

i had been quoted $200 for my NA Fairlane - the injectors were full of carbon, that would cover the cleaning of each injector plus labor.

I replaced my injectors a while back.
Repco had them for about $180 for a set of 6, exchange. ($30 ea)
Brand new ones from Ford without trade discounts etc. were about $95 each.
Brand new Bocsh ones from repco were like over $200 each. Can't remember exact price but was unbelievable.
Didn't price having my old ones cleaned.

From personal experience unless they have good advertised Specials on, it pays to give REPCO a wide berth because as the name suggests:
