Yeah you only need a $5 bit of veroboard. This is how mine turned out
I actually ordered the parts from glens garage but didn't get the circuit board. I was cost cutting at the time and figured it looked like a simple circuit board to make up, but even so it's alot of stuffing around, drilling holes and bending the legs of various components to get them to fit

Cheers I assume that price of $20 includes freight because my price from RS is $5.94 each |

http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... &SUBCATID= $3.95 a piece. Search for D 37 not DB37. D 37 brings up hits on farnell too.. (but farnell is 5 per item minimum) |

Yep, I bought all the components from glens garage and assembled them on veroboard.
For $18 US it's well worth it to save the stuffing around of sourcing all the individual parts locally

damn just had a quick read and i think i've realised that TFI ignition isn't supported with the MSII yet. Only the MSnS extra. damnit..
Do i need ignition control or could i just leave the EEC handling it? When it comes to turbo can i just manually retard it by rotating the dizzy or something or does that have to be handled in the MS? Damn |

TFI is supported... have a look through the MSII and V3 section of the forums.. there's a guy running the ford TFI. And lance chucked up an information on how to hook it up.
Very easy. And if you don't wanna use the TFI module, you always have the high current IGBT driver, which allows you to drive the coil directly using the VB921's. Cheers

spart timing is one of the more important aspects of tuning with boost.
retard the dizzy and you'll end up with crap responce offboost but safe onboost timing, other way will have good reposnce by it'll ping its nuts off.

Cheers You only need about 6 or 5 if you're using it for the stimulator... |
