Hi, has anyone around the Brissy area dealt with a Dyno tuner you would recommend or advise to steer clear of, and any feedback on chiptorque at Nerang, thanks.

The good tuners at Chiptorque have moved on. My tuner is James @ BPS. By far the best qualified tuner I have found, and extremely honest too.

BPS have the runs on the board. One blown AU XR8 tuned by Elite - 240rwkw and 13.2@109. BPS Tuned (no other changes) 355rwkw and 11.44@122. This still runs mid 11's 5 years since James last touched the car.

Elite was another one recommended to me so that bit of feed back is handy, I'm just after a bit of feed back so I can make an informed decision, wasted $250 at chiptorque for nothing. I don't live far from Cleveland might drop down there next week and have a chat , thanks

Went to BPS for a tune, very happy with the result, James was very helpful.

Good to know mate! James is one of the most professional tuners I have had dealings with. If you don't mind me asking, what did you make on his dyno?

I had a run on the dyno at chiptorque a couple of weeks ago and the figures were 156 rwk and 395 nm the base run on the bps dyno was 150 rwk, after tune was 166.2 and gained near 40 nm torque, James told me I need a bigger maf and throttle body so he can get a bit more out of it, when I fit them he will tune to suit no extra charge,. I have an AU1 is the TB out of an AU2 the same size or will I need an aftermarket one as well as an after market maf, thanks

220kw got a 70mm Throttle Body. You will need an aftermarket MAF. xr9ute or Scaffy would be the people to ask about the MAF.

Fitted 76mm MAF and 70mm throttle body and have had it retuned, 186.8 kw & 467.4 nm, very pleased with the result, would recommend BPS.
