looking to put a very covert kill switch in the car. dont know what wires to splice from the ecu tho. was thinking 58/59 (injectors 1 3 & 5) or straight from the fuel pump. (too much wiring and chance of fire). just seen this one PIP 56 (profile ign. pickup, i assume from the chip in the key) that might do. if it doesn't fry my security sys.
the other would be from the ignition barrel loom. anyone know more about this than i? enlighten me Cheers

just cut the fuel pump line, and bung in a switch... its fast, convienent and is a bonus when replacing the fuel filter or working on the injectors)
make sure you use 10amp+ wiring and a decent switch ...you can axcess the wire from the drivers kick panel and I think it is the black with a yellow trace on it (please undo the fuel pump cover and confirm first!)

what sort do you want?
One that just prevents the car from being started OR one that when switched will make the engine stall once started?

then i'd actually have it on the smaller wire that goes to the starter solenoid. This is where the starter gets its signal to turn over By putting a switch on this wire the starter will not do anything and if sombody is trying to start your car it won't run the battery flat either. It also means that when your driving, and you accidently flick the switch it won't cut the motor out causing you to loose power steering and brake feel
