I might be interested in a better Bosch Fuel Pump. My AU has problems with about 1/4 fuel. Be interested to see prices.

Eye Van,

If my 42lb's fall through - lemme know how much you can do for me (42lb) injectors (please :)). Also after a Bosch 984 fuel pump (something that can do 200 litres per hour at 5 bar).

Muchas Gracias,
Steve

lol eye van

most pumps operate around the 300kpa = approx 45 psi

since u have a programmable ECU and correctly sized injectors now u should be able to correct the air/fuel ratio without running the pump higher fuel pressures

yes increasing fuel pressures will also squeeze more fuel into the engine

cheers

Ivan, I wouldn't mind hearing about prices for a set of 24# injectors.

Most regulators operate @ 3 bar. Most pumps are capable of 5 bar and up to 8 bar.

You'll need a bosch 0 580 254 044 fuel pump for an external pump setup with a swirl pot. Not sure what kind of setup you're after. Burson's will sell you one but I'm not sure about other auto parts stores.

Before you commit to buying the injectors, try a guy on ebay called blueovalindustries. He is in the states but I still landed a set of 42 lb Ford Motorsport injectors for a shade over $300 AU.

The 044 is overkill for my application...a 984 will be good for 300 + rwkw...which is more than my target. The 044 is also substantially louder which would annoy me.
