Ok ive done it. the stupidest thing someone can do..... was replacing my broken indicator lense so i disconnected my battery. fixed the lens good and then i connected the battery back again ubtil i smelt burniong and realised id connected the wires to the positive terminal instead of the negative... too late damage has been done. so i think ive FU#@ed my ECU?
car wont start but there is power. not turning over. can i replace the ecu with another eb V8 second hand ECU? or is it more technical than that? if it isnt has anybody got one or know where to get one. or if it is what do i have to do?

Do you mean you hooked up the battery backwards ?Did you have the ignition turned on when you did this?I would be checking to make sure your fusible links are ok,same with your fuses.Does your fuel pump turn on when you turn on the ignition?More info would be helpful.Cheers Kevman.
