At the same time, If it is intercepting the PIP, it could tell the factory ECU the pickup is going past, when it insnt, or viser versa. On the Haltech programmer, this wire also controls the RPM points for the Interceptor Map so no RPM points, not a very good tune. I have heard of ppl running the interceptor in their AU's. Would an AU TFI module coreect this or are they all the same?
AU is like EF in that it is a distributorless ignition system... aka coil packs. PIP signal is providing the unit with crank angle position... and i assume its modifying that signal to get the ECU to fire the spark when haltech wants it to... PIP also acts as a quasi-tacho signal IIRC... It does sound like the unit is capable of working with EL TFI PIP... maybe just a setting that needs tweaking?? Or double check you've got the right wire??

Lol! Running out of wires! I have just emailed them again to see if they have actually used the Interceptor in an EL. I might just have the wrong settings for the PIP. Like you said, just may need some tweeking
