hello people,

im trying to wire in my wolf 3d v4 and am a bit confused on a few details.

if anyone has there old install details or knows how to wire the following up it would be of great assistance.

btw the car is a 4.0 running a dizzy out of an ea with the input trigger 1 wired from inside the dizzy.

1. Do i wire the "Ignition 1" on the wolf to pin 36 on the stock ecu?

2. What do i wire the "Input trigger ground" to from the wolf?

3. What do i wire the "Input trigger +5V" to from the wolf?

also now that ive began wiring in the wolf for some reason the car wont crank and a little signal like this "!" comes up on the dash, is this common.

A good place to start may be the Wolf website and see if any of the downloads of instructions apply to the Ford ECU. If not you could try phoning them with your Wolf serial number handy and ask for fitting instructions/advice etc.

its very involved ,to get a dizzy running on a wolf .ive run the knock sensor and coil packs .

you need to remove dizzy and grind out the internals of it so you can move the hall effect sensor .and you need to get rid of the tfi modual and use one out of a xf dizzy .and there are resistors you need to run to bring the voltage down and so on .and good luck trying to get anything out of the wolf people there f**k hopeless and really need to do something about it

you need the ignitor modual as well ,m&w make it .it took me a auto elect and mech 4 weeks to get mine going .its a big job if you havnt done it before ,i'll dig up some of the documents that i used whats ya email address mate pm it to me

if you can get a dizzy out of an XF caby running est to fit your block then your in luck, as they work fine.
