I picked up an EL BBM and just want to check out what injectors i got with it.
Is there a part number or something i can look at, there are a few numbers on each injector. I can get the numbers and a picture if it helps? Regards, Michael.

they are probably std ones and they should be 18.25 lb injectors |

There on an EL BBM i got from sommerNL, Not even 100% sure if its EL thou i dont think theres much if any difference with the EF.
This is what is on each injector WR2A-AA 0 280 155 844 817 B 906 I left the picture big for better detail.

there std au injectors 20lb..
that manifold is an au one.. the t map sensor is not compatable with e series so its kind of usless for e series.. Last edited by TROYMAN on Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:32 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

Well i got it with the EL hybrid engine i got. SommerNL mentioned they might be better than std but couldn't remember. Wouldn't be surprised if they were AU then any real difference between AU and EF/EL because i have no idea.
Still trying to work out how to get the BBM onto my ED untill im ready to put in on the EL engine with the T5 in a car without rust.

the au manifold will bolt on but the t map sensor on the au is not compatable with e series ecu.
the t map sensor on au is where the ait sensor is on e series(under the throttle body). unfortunatly the e series ait sensor dont fit into the au manifold. so the person who sold you it either dont know or they just assumed they were the same.. |

Still a chance its EL with AU injectors?
I got this in a trade for a wrecked EB with good drive line which was no good to me, in trade i asked for EL hybrid engine with serp belt set up and the BBM setup to suit an ED, el manual ecu but got auto  .Maybe i could photo some plugs which would show its an EF/EL?

the ef/el sensor is the same as ea/ed and looks like the larger sensor on your thermostat housing..

Yer the unpper intake has a part number starting with WR2A something rather menaing its an AU similar to ECU codes, could i use this upper half from dads EF has part number of 94DA?

yep thats an ef upper...
so you can put that uppen on the other lower and you have a compatable manifold..  anything with wr1 or wr2 at the begining of the part number is au.. and stuff with 91 to 96da is e series.. |

Be a good idea to get those injectors cleaned beforehand if you intend to use them.
You can't be sure on their condition before fitting.
