I used to get about 500-550km mixed driving when it was the daily. Now I get maybe 400-450km as a weekend/tower...but I drive it much harder and less highway.

Best I ever got...60L/845km (~7L/100km). Going from Liverpool to home on a single tank. I had a jerry can ready just in case I ran out of fuel haha. On the way to Sydney, I did probably 70L/850km...uphill climb going to Sydney so uses up a bit more fuel.

Yeah that's with the 195rwkw, the J3 didn't cope to well with my current cam when i was cruising around.

Is that because you lose lean cruise with the chip? I wasveondering if lean cruise still worked with a j3

if i wanted something good on gas, i wouldn't of bought a falcon.

agreed, if anyone who owns a falcon is really worried about their fuel consumption, they should have brought a smaller 4 cyl..

I recently replaced the oxygen sensor in my 4.0 EL Fairmont wagon....It was the original one from when the car was new. It has 162,000 genuine K's and since replacing the oxygen sensor I've noticed the fuel economy has improved, Not by much but that improvement is better than getting an average of 320K's on a tank.

Might be, WOT was fine, but idle and cruise was puffing out a fair bit of black smoke. Gained around 25rwkw through mid range and 10rwkw up top with a different ECU.

Out of my EF I normally about 500-550km, mixed city/highway driving on a daily basis, that's using about 60L of the 68L tank.
Best I ever got was 703km and that was on the way to Sydney, it does alright on the freeway.

I get between 350-450 mainly city driving and giving it at least one WOT a day haha. I usually fill it up around 350km as I don't trust my fuel gauge but if petrols really expensive at the time and I let it go until the light comes on, it'll get near 450km...
I rarely let the light come on, freaks me out every time lol

Maybe lean cruise was disabled? Aparently acording to jason(ti performance) it can be turned off but he leaves it on unless the customer asks for it off.

I get 9.2 L/100km on the highway and high 12's low, 13's around town.

EB XR6 with EA T5 and 3.45 diff gears (standard), 2.5" cat back, EA intake tube and XH snorkle. Basically stock lol.
