How would I change a fuel filter on a BA i6?
Since the fuel pump is off, would that mean no fuel will come out from the line beside what is already in the line?
Can someone please comfirm this..

i am not far from going and changing mine on the au all iam going to do is to take the pressure out of the line by dissconnecting the fuel line off the fuel line going to the fuel reg (casue there is pressure still there) and then getting underneath and disconnecting the fuel hose and undoing the "nut".

I've done a few now and i've just kept my head to the side (i.e. not underneath) and looked away, and fuel has never come near my eyes, only some has run down my arm. Once the generally mildish pressure is released not much fuel flows, just get the job over and done with.

You need 14 & 19mm spanners. Not much fuel will come out, if you want to get most of the fuel out of the lines just pull the fuel pump relay out and run the car until it stalls, but since your fuel pump is already out theres no need.
