I've got an EF ECU from my manual conversion parts, I don't want it as it's not a Tickford one, but I want to double check that it is a manual ECU before selling it as I don't want to rip some one off.

Sticker on the wiring harness plug says:
Quote:
ETV-554 4DAF EEC-IV
94DA-12A650-AF *D7FM633657ZR*
G NPF 8B241

Sticker on the botton black cap:
Quote:
94DA-AF NPEF
4DAF 802251

Any ideas?

The third digit in the main 4 digit code should be "A"

For example, mines "4DAD"

So since this one is "4DAF" then it is therefore manual. Any idea what the difference is between the last digit being D or F out of interest?

EDIT: Just found this thread through Google - http://www.fordmods.com/forums/ecu-catc ... 30186.html

Answered both my questions:

Quote:
4DAD - EF Falcon 95' 6 cyl Manual Wagon
4DAF - EF Falcon 95' 6 cyl Manual

Any idea what one of these is worth? I remember paying $250ish for my Tickford auto ECU years ago, doubt these are worth anything like that.

4DAB
4DAC
4DAD
4DAF

Unsure if there's an 'E'

above are basic manual GLi's, futura's.

Yes the fetch around $150+ (sometimes a lot less sometimes a lot more)

The last code F is revision, Basically nothing different from 4DAB-4DAF besides minor niggles and firmware upgrades.

XR6 ones are Labeled
4TAB
4TAC
4TAD
etc.
