Hey all,

Stripped my engine down and block+crank is f**k, So its chuck away material.

So im going to do what I always wanted.

Im doing a v8 conversion and at the same time converting it to manual.
The question I have is, will going from the I6 fairmont ecu to a el xr8 manual ecu cause any conflict with any other hardware? I.e will my climate control and trip computer and stuff still function correctly?
And will the xr8 ecu talk to the body control module or will there be problems?

Also do the auto and manual cars have the same wiring harness inside the car? Like the wires for the power button? Do the manuals have the harness and its just not plugged in?
What do I do here?
