hi all, was just wandering if anyone can suggest a good injector upgrade for ba n/a xr6 04.. i know the origionals are about 290 cc so maybe 300cc + would be good...

no need to upgrade the injectors on a ba n/a, unless there is some fairly serious head/cam modifications..
the factory injectors flow enough.. they are even the same injectors used in the xr6 turbo.. the turbo just runs highr fuel pressure..

ohk, cool, whats the the best way to clean them out, I think i may have flooded them or something when i fooled around with my flash tuner, running too rich/ lean... or best to replace?

they dont flood... the only thing that can normally happen is dirty fuel can clog them up.

its hard to explain, the theres nothing wrong with the tune, i just messed around with the optional parameters, ie ran it too rich, ran it too lean adjusted spark levels, just to test what worked and what didnt...thanks guys for ur input, ill change the fuel filter and clean out the injectors... :D :D :D

how do you clean injectors? i thort you had to pay someone to do this, also how can you tell if there blocked/dirty?

+1 for this as I think mine are dirty also, car is quite surgy at low throttle when its cost - you can see the rev meter jumping up as it surges

just go to Supercheap Auto and by Carby/Injector cleaner... run it through a tank of fuel and it should clean them out... also change your fuel filter too so it doesnt run the same much through them..... i run injector cleaner every now and then..
