Just wondering if anyone has used or are currently using any of the Innovate products for afrs and/or data logging? If so, so you have any coments, good or bad?
Here's a link to some vids of their product... http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/lm101.php

I had a quick read through and it looks ok. Will have to spend a bit of time later reading it properly.

Do you use much of the data logging mitch? Also, they say that you get 44 min of logging time. Is that just at any one time and you're able to erase and start again?

As i have stated in another thread, i use it as well, i want a second to monitor both banks. I use the EMS for data loggin, which is used mainly at the track, allows me to see when i am low on NOS due to the fall in intake temp. I got mine through EMS them selves

you can erase and start again..
the lm1 holds 44min i believe as many individual sessions as you like.. and it displays in realtime. the lc1 needs something to record it (ie the datalogging on my megasquirt) i use it a bit, would use it alot more if i could get it to talk to my megasquirt logging... (again ms issue not innovate.) one thing i would recommend is whichever way you go, make sure you can log afr against atleast rpm. ideally against rpm and load. -mitch

I was looking at the LM-1 kit with the AuxBox which allows logging afrs against rpm, tps and a umber of other parameters. I think load is in there as well.

Another question for you mitch, with the lm1, does the hand-held unit need to be plugged in all the time to run a gauge, or can you run a gauge off the sensor while the hand-held unit is not connected?

The hand held unit is the controller. It has to be connected ALL of the time powered up. If you dont it wont turn on the sensor and it will f**k it up. To connect a gauge you connect it to one of the analog outputs of the LM-1 or you get a digital gauge that connects to the serial output of the LM-1 |

So, if it's not connected it'll do damage to the sensor? I was hoping I wouldn't need the bulky LM-1 unit in there all the time, but have a real-time afr readout always. I'd go the LC-1 but want to be able to use the data logging feature when I'm at the track and for fine-tuning.

you do know that if you have an LM1 you'll also need the extra module for logging RPM and stuff... ?? the LM1 will log AFR straight up but thats pretty useless if you cant reference it again rpm and tps or something... |

Innovate aren't even selling LM1s on their site anymore I don't think.
Look at LM2 Glenneaux, looks f**k awesome. I want one. I recommend you look too, logs 16 channels of OBD2 data.

I wasn't going to buy the LM-1 from them. Kade Speed seem to have their stuff pretty cheap.
I've seen ODB2 a lot... what is it exactly? The LM-2 does look good, but I don't know if I need to be spending the extra $ on it...

I got a LM1 very handy, with a OBD2 (or E series scanner) at hand for diagnosing all sorts of issues.
