ok i am new to this but im very keen to learn. ill be asking lots of questions about this.
i plan on wiring up the computer my self and getting it running with a supplied tune and then taking it to a quilified tuner i have decided on the ems stinger 4424 for my ef turbo. i have a few questions regarding this ecu is this a good ecu for my car? what exactly does an ignitor module do and how to wire it up? how many coils does an ef have? i was thinking of getting one of these starter kits http://www.enginemanagement.com.au/inde ... bb7b569e66 i really only want the computer to control fuel injectors timing and map sensor is this a stand alone ecu or can it be used in conjunction with the ford computer? ive heard of people using seperate ls1 coil packs and what not. is this the best thing to do or would it be fine with the ford coil packs. im looking for safe boost levels of 9 psi to start but eventually run around 12psi? any help will be appreciated
