hey everyone. as some might know i might have stuffed injectors. i was thinking of pulling them out and getting them cleaned but.....it would cost me about 130 bux or something to get them done :S. so i thought about cleaning them myself (not recommended i know). i was thinking of getting some of those injector cleaner things and pour it into a shallow tray. dip the tips of the injectors in there for a while. then pump some of the injector fluid through it using an old fuel pump..........is this wise or just stupid?

Sparks (loose wires/bodgy joints) and fuel mist are an explosive combination. Besides I think that injectors get professionally cleaned ultra sonically and you could not match this with the method you describe.

Damn, good thing I got new injectors for like 170 lol.
Phong, pulling the fuel rail off and getting the injectors out, and then putting it all back in on the EL is a damn well pain in the a** :p. |
