Howdy all i just converted my EL Fairmont to LPG. It has a 85 litre tank a OMVL Converter, and a full gas computer, which lets it start on petrol and automatically change to gas.

Havent noticed any difference in power, drives exactly the same.

Neways i have one question, there is a pipe which comes out of the converter and runs to the intake snorkle and is plumbed in to the side of it just passed the opening. Neways after driving the car and revving it a bit, i pop the bonnet and a little bit of liquid has came out of that pipe and flowed out of snorkle on to the plastic cover at front of car, this liquid looks like coolant, i think that pipe is to recirculate excess or sumthing but im not sure if coolant should come out of it. can anybody clarify this?

Sounds like the balance line, shouldn't be any fluid in there as far as i'm aware.

Its all brand new, when i was picking the car yo i noticed some whiteish stuff on plastic outside snorkle, its dryed up coolant. Neways the guys from the gas place should of seen this also, so maybe its just while the setup is all new, it may need time to wear in

Let it wear in. If it still happens I'd say there's a leak in the diaphram in the converter. Got to be carful as this could send liquid down your gas pipe and into the intake aswell.
