Anyone got any ideas or tips on how to make a kill switch on an old diesel vehicle? It's a 1969 Land Cruiser with a 2H 4.0L diesel 6 cylinder. At the moment to turn the car off, I've got to put foot on the brake and let the clutch out to stall the vehicle. So I'm looking to put an on/off switch in the cab so I can just flick it and it'll cut the vehicle out.
First diesel I've owned, and since it doesn't have spark plugs, distributor etc. I don't know what wire to use.

There should be a bowden cable coming off the injector pump thru to the dash you pull out to cut fuel flow to turn it off. If you dont have one have it idling and look for a level onthe fuel pump thet you can turn and cut the motor out. Then fit a choke cable or similar to that.

More people paid for a ride in a VT commodore then an AU Falcon so the VT is superior.
Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!
