Just wondering for ute owners ... if they normally have loud fuel pumps at all.
I have an XG "S" ... and I am finding that the fuel pump is kinda loud ... I always hear a buzzing sound while running ... not sure if it is an aftermarket pump either ... when I get the time I'll get under the car and have a look and get the model of the pump used. Anyone else with this issue????

yeah they normaly are loud.
it's because of where they are and that the try kind of acts like a megaphone |

I dunno, mine used to be loud... I have a wagon by the way, effectively the same thing. Anyway, mine was loud... then it died... got replaced.. now I can't hear it. So it might just be on the way out.
Cheers

Interesting ... a can smell fuel ... it might be dying ... I'll get it checked out ... but so far everything is running right .... I can hardly hear it now ... jsut replaced my exhaust from cat-back ... 2.5" replaced with new pipe and smaller muffler ... much deeper and louder ... lukey muffler installed.
