I need to source a wiring diagramme for this unit. Does anyone have any idea who makes this unit? all the labels with manufacturers name and serial / model numbers have fallen off.

It was fitted to a EF Falcon

Thats a Vialle unit as factory fitted to EF and EL's dual fuel cars. Boral are the local distributers and the manuals are available and quite reasonably priced.

Boral are the distributor for NZ as well, I was after a wiring diagram and I have now got one. the car has no spark when you swap over to LPG and runs like a dog on petrol. I need to check i wired it in right.

The Car ECU is interconnected with the LPG one on the factory install but can work seperate if required, you have the dual fuel car ECU or the standard one?

Using the standard ECU and a seperate unit made by Centerlink International to control the spark when on LPG.

The Tickford fitted LPG units were never availble in NZ as an OEM option, any EF or EL fitted with lpg was done after it came in to the country

I bought an ex taxi for parts and decided to fit the LPG kit out of it into my car, it's been a bit of a fun.

Ok I am not familiar with the Centerlink (both types) but that sounds like where the problem may be. I would like to know how that part works.

I will try to find out more information on the centrelink unit, when i have a play round in the weekend. as far as i know when you switch over to gas it adjusts the spark to suit LPG, same as the factory tickord gas ECU does.

One advantage is that it allows to run your standard petrol ecu or in my case run a EF police ECU.

Another advantage is that you are able to retain your trip computer whilst on GAS.
