OK some responses on Vialle's LPi. Scott nailed it mostly so I might as well restate it
Multivalve in the tank - no big deal - everything fitted straight to a normal tank gets fitted on a brass plate which then bolts onto the tank. It's no more of an issue to remove an MV than a float or AFL. A full-rebuild kit is available for the Vialle pump / mutlivalve assembly. Vialle indicates a life time better than most petrol fuel pumps. Read what you like into that. one solenoid is on the feed line. The return line has a one way valve. Injectors - The LPG injectors are fitted onto the manifold wherever some space is available. 6cyl BA is probably hardest to package but manageable. There are several mounting types, one way is with a boss crimped into a drilled hole in the manifold. Another uses tubes. Another uses threaded inserts. I could go on and on. Injector cycles - the injectors are based on Siemens run of the mill Deka units and are made by Siemens for Vialle. You will get bored counting total lifetime injections. Pump - 5 speed diaphragm pump runs AC 3 phase (integral inverter), for max efficiency, min heat. 5 speed enables very large pressure and flow range for situations like: starting mono fuel - max pressure needed cruising low load - low pressure low flow max load - you get the picture Power - 200Kw ECU - standard ECU retained, a piggy back ecu is also added. This 2nd ecu drives all the lpg system including accounting for temp, pressure, O2 etc etc etc. All petrol injection functions go straight thru to the LPG injectors via this ecu. Petrol / LPG changeover strategy is also controlled by the LPG ECU. For std dual fuel, it starts on petrol, waits for key parameters, then changes over automatically Regulations - no dramas. Availability - a company is claiming patent rights for Aus. This despite LPi having availability everywhere else in the world. That site only showed CNG not LPG liquid injection, CNG has limited range because it has kept at something like -150c to become a liquid.

I will host it if you want, you can also use your members gallery. If the specs etc are the same as what was sent to me, I can post them up, but I am unsure if that is OK at this point, I need to contact the person that sent the specs and repair manual to me, there could be some copyright issues. (LOL me saying this is different)

Liquid Injection is here now!
Australian LPG Warehouse now has their ICOM JTG Liquid injection system available. They have been carrying out extensive durability testing in Australia for over a year with great results. They have already given training to the first group of installers with positive feedback. Due to the high demand already, it will only be available initially to existing ALPGW installers. Ben |
