Got some questions I can't find the answers to.
Will be using an LPG turbo setup and doing the homework on what to buy. Most closed loop LPG controllers use a PWM signal to apply/remove atmospheric pressure via a solenoid to the converter to enrich/lean out the mixture. The plan is to use a megasquirt-II to control ignition only but after some thought and discussion, I'd also like to control this solenoid (tap in after the turbo) and remove the proprietary LPG computer. I've analysed my solenoid and noticed the pulse width is around 20-50% at about 7-10Hz. Can anyone offer any advice whether this would work or if I should leave the factory LPG controller in place? |
