id be happy spending up to $1500 for an ecu and for it to be tuned. ill install it myself.
would the MT8 or LT8 be on the cheap side to tune and is it a complex one to install.

i would have to leave the stock ecu there to control the auto and other things yes?

better call microtech tech support and speak John as he is very helpful and can send u in the right direction.

Yes you will need the standard ECU just unplug the injector side of things and away you go

If you have your heart set on Microtech definately give them a ring and they will guide you to the right product for your needs. They will also give you advise on how to wire it up.

$1500 for a Microtech is a good price which model did you get that price on. Allow at least another $1000 for tuning just to be on the safe side. Dyno's are'nt cheap

Good luck finding an ECU for around $500 bucks. You will need to go around all the different forums and have a look in the for sale sections to source one of any brand. Just had a look on Ebay there is a couple of older models for around $300 one from EMS and one from Microtech.

They are around but a late model would be rare.

Don't no much about the specific models but they appear to do what you require. They both control ignition and fuel.

Have you looked at the adaptronic ECU? you should be able to get one and have it tuned for under $2000.

(should also add I currently work for Adaptronic)
