hi guys,i got the misses to type that while i was kicking the car lol.
jist is we were hooking up wiring for a cd deck,it did arc a couple of times by total accident,anyways we got it all in and go to move the car and and all we get is it winding.
we checked all fuses and they are all good.
tommorow we are going to replace all relays.
funny thing is the fuel pump is making no noise AND the interior fan which was previously working is making all noise and no blow.
SO..either we have blown the relays for fan and fuel pump
OR its a coincedence and the pump has died by natural causes.
i am stuck guys and would appreciate any suggestions.
thanks.

Check the work you have already done?Test the fuses near the battery,I am sure there is a fuel pump fuse there.Make sure you haven't crushed or pulled out any vacuum lines.I don't think you would have damaged any relays and the next time disconnect the battery so you can't short out any wires .Kevman

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a bit and then plugging it back in? Relays might be stuck.

If that doesn't work...check fuses again. They may see fine sometimes, but they may also have a break closer to the side away from where the viewing bit is.

If you have done the above, get your partner to start the car while you bash the top of the fuel pump access hole, or kicking the fuel tank. If it starts then your fuel pump has had it.

Coincidence or not...ALWAYS UNPLUG THE EARTH FROM THE BATTERY WHEN DOING ELECTRICAL WORK!!!

phong =P~

ok the fuel pump will only run for a couple of seconds to prime and then shuts off until you wind the motor over.if you lost pump & gauge then check tank connections.Did you wipe out an earth wire doing cd player?Worst case scenario would be ecu.Turn ignition on and leave on for an hour or 30 minutes [forgot which one]and make sure batttery is charged up!Turn a/c and fans stereo off while waiting.Good luck.do the ignition one 1st.
