{USERNAME} wrote: That is why I am not going to put LPG on my car. The fuel is the best.
In the Manual eb2 wagon I can return 13.3 litres of LPG PER 100 on freeway, that cost me around $8- per 100'ks... even at best a falc returning 9.0 l's per 100 is around $13 per 100....Save around $5- per 100 k's. Gas it better and if its setup properly, u dont even notice the power loss AT ALL. I can return 16L's per 100 outta the Windsor too(LPG)....but thats another story...

my current ed is doing about 500-530km from a tank and that with a f**k converter (it never locks) but the car is EEC 5 (el) My blue eb fairmont EEC 5 el motor, full exhaust pacey 4499, 2500 stall ,4.11's did 600km a tank mixed highway and city and thats not without a caning thats for sure. and it was a freak.

yeah im guessing the oxy sensor is f**k, but it dosent really stink of richness when its running, nor does any black smoke come out the back when i give it some.
im getting my extractors put on next week, and they have a good oxy sensor in them so ill see if that makes a difference.

{USERNAME} wrote: I did some maths the other day, and my g/f's getting about 9/100 out of my mighty boy lately, which is pretty s**t considering the size of the car & engine. Maybe it's the larger tyres. Last time the 543cc engine was in, she was averaging 6/100 with the stocko 145/70 12's, i've now got 165/65 13's on the 'boy. Handles heaps better!
Still, on petrol it's more expensive than my EB on LPG to run! Are you compensating for the odo underreading in proportion to the increase in tyre overall diameter? I'm getting around 10.5 to 11L/100km from my XG on PULP country driving.

El fairmont ghia, 80kmh, slight decline.
Fuel economy 0L/100km!! (as measured by the trip computer) Beat that.
