BOZZ, I'm not going to tell you what you should drive, that's your decision. There's no need to get defensive mate, I wasn't bagging anyone, just expressing my lack of enthusiasm for watching my fuel guage. I drive my Falcon because I enjoy it, if I feel like giving her a thrash, I'll do it. If I feel like cruising, I'll slip it into top gear and cruise. If it costs me an extra $5-$10 at fill-up time, I don't care because I drive for the pleaseure, safety, comfort and performance, not to monitor how much fuel I use. Anyway, who says you can't hook a tow bar up to a GTR? :)

Gotta love LPG. Trip to Moama and back (for paintball), round trip exceeding 500kms (with some city driving) and drove the whole way on one tank of LPG!! Cost me $28.50... HAHAHA cop that you LPG hating bastards! Oh, and it's a modded 5.0L!

Anything around the 9L/100 kms on the highway is expected of a car this size (petrol only). Anything lower than 9L is exceptional.

Around town is different - It will vary on tyre size, engine size, exhaust modifications, general driving habits and load.

Average around town for me is 13.4L/100 kms. The range will go down in slow city traffic, but climb slowly when cruise control is used on quiet stretches of road. I have no modifications.

Petrol type doesn't matter to me - I just use unleaded, and lucky I filled up yesterday - as petrol went up 20 cpl this afternoon - was $1.069 this morning, then hit $1.269 this afternoon.

my trip computer El Ghia when i top it all the way up it only goes up to about 500km i think i have seen it say in the 600 a few times but i still get 650 700 ks out of a tank @115 to 120 when i get down toa 1/4 of a tank its starts beeping at me saying i have 80 ks left ata 1/4!! but i still do about 100 k's in even town. i barley rev it above 2500 sometimes i get to 3000 and once a week or so i go all the way to the line. fuel is like a 1.40 a litre here so i have been light footed. (bloody big work out keeping me foot of that peddle)
