Hey guys got some Nulon performance engine treatment yestie, just wanted to know is it worth putting this stuff in your engine once a month or so? says it reduce friction and wear, maintains performance etc, will this stuff really help in looking after your engine :?:

NO. all you are doing is upseting the balance of your oil.

want to do you engine a favour, use quality oil

if you used every additive the company made you have no oil only a sump full of additive. yet they still claim them all to work

it costs the same to just get better oil as the additives are min $10.
example
valvoline/fuchs $20 mineral
penrite/penzoil $30 semi-syn
motul/shell syn $40 and so on

so just chuck the $10 extra in the oil.

ok thanks lads i was wondering about that cant really see how somthing in your oil can claim to give you more power. thanks

i use wynns tune up in my oil. it seems to help with my noisy lifters.

Yep, if you use a decent oil, additives aren't needed.

i still use an engine oil flush, and i used the Nulon Stop lifter Tick or what ever it is called once and it worked. Besdies that I don't use additives. O, injector cleaner every now and then...

I believe that stuff that stops you engine rattleing is simply a viscosity modifier. I.e, it turns your 20/40 into a 30/50

Yep another happy customer here with the Nulons engine oil flush, worked a wonder on my old XF, made the engine heaps quiter.

my 2cents says just keep using decent oil and keep the oil relatively fresh n the falcon engine will soldier on for ages...

Agree with hornet. Can't go wrong with the top shelf gear
Trying ELF 10w40 tomorrow, flushing out Fuchs Titan Super GTO which was very impressive

Prior to that, Redline

Isn't it a better idea to stick to one brand/type and keep using it?
