Hi! Recently installed my audio system in my new EF. In doing so I think I may have shorted something out. For a moment after I installed the sub, speakers and amps I went to turn the car on and it made kind of a 'boom' sound, like something exploded. After that the car would not start, it just wasnt getting any power from the battery to the engine. I thought it was a fuse but after checking all of them I discovered they were fine. My mate thought he'd play around with the car alarm and press the lock and unlock buttons on my remote a few times. He then tried to start the car a waaala. It was fixed.

But now my odometre wont show the kms I've traveled - the speedo, rev guage, fuel guage, oil pressure, temp, battery guages work fine but the odometres is permanetly off...

You guys got any ideas?

I would check the bulb for the LCD. It could be blown.
