Powerchip Gold is a J3 chip, as all the EEC chips are. However there are a couple out there such as the Moates and Galapogos01's ones that are re writable, so you dont need to bend over a barrel to change your tune when you change things on the car.

So PowerchipGold, ChipTorque, Eliminator are all J3 chips with the same capabilites as is other with Moates and Gmans J3 being rewritable?

Powerchips are not re-writable and are a generic 98ron tune. Chiptorque are re-writable however you will need to be reamed for a new tune. What Jaysen is saying is that anything that plugs into our ECUs, plug into the J3 port. If you want a generic tune, get something like the powerchip but if you want to tune it yourself where you can manipulate the way the ECU controls your engine, then go for Galapogos01's stuff.
