There is a mob in the States called SCT or something....

They have just finished cracking the BA's range of ECU's and are releasing a full edit.....just like the LS1 boys

good news is they are releasing EEC edit early next year, all I know is EEC V is being developed not sure about EEC IV. These edits are the s**t guys, you gain control over the whole ECU, without having to trick it or anything.

If you want more info, there is tonnes of it on FordForums in the ECU section. Just look for anything that says Boss Edit

It's called Superchips Custom Tuning(SCT). This is what I was hoping to demo soon but they are still not ready.
EECIV and V examples up to EL will still use J3 adaptors to do the deed although I see no reason why the EF-L vehicles could not be reflashed once some wiring is added to the harness for comms.
Of course this still means that major calibration changes must be performed by the dealer and only minor changes can be made by the actual owner. The idea is to have the main Cal. done after major mods and then you won't need major changes later.

I hope you guy's are keeping up the emails to tweecer.com meantime?
Any responses yet?

Cheers,
Pete.

Haha

well i know that CAPA have yet to unveil their distributors in each state so.... :)

I just hope this edit proves to be as good as what Mr Street Tuner makes it out to be. And i also hope by mid next year someone, somewhere develops the ability to tune the EEC in my EL properly. No piggyback s**t

Yeah Disco, AU's can be reflashed through the diagnostic port just like BA's.
I hope they (SCT) hurry up because there are others that could pip them at the post.

So im to assume it'll be the same thing for my EL then.....woot!
Should we continue to harass the good people at tweecer then?

Well no actually but, as I said it may be a matter of adding the OBD wiring and then it would be possible to reflash. Of course it's just another means to the same end....modifying the factory Cal. instead of trying to trick it with piggy back s**t. A reflash will achieve it and so will a J3 Adaptor.
Yes definitely keep emailing tweecer.com.
Anyone had a response yet?

Pete.

I'd just say what vehicle you have and whether EECIV or V and ask if you can get a tweecer for it.

Got a response from Mike Glover, he said "Thanks, we will see what we can do.."

On a different matter, has anyone got the wiring pin out for the ECU in a EF falcon.

Cheers
Tim
