It'll be low on oil i think not a ecu problem. I had a courtesy car for a while that used to slip/no drive when i went around corners. It was heaps low on gearbox oil. Didn't care though wasnt my car

Should do.

When you say "from taking off it jumps from third back to second" is that from a standing start?
It sounds like its going into limp home mode. Have you done a dianostic check?

the numbers you seek are in search :) hehe

To Reset the ECU, disconnect the positive terminal off your batt, put your foot on the brake pedal so all left over energy will be passed out the tail lights, leave it sit from 30mins to an hour. connect the terminal again start the car and it should be reset :)

Make sure that if you want to 'pass out the energy' though the tail lights, that you turn to key on the ignition. (AFAIK brake lights in falcons don't come on unless the key is on - at least in all my ABS equiped falcons)
